Master of the Dungeon

Welcome to another silly prompt with a mind of its own, and this silly title has stuck. The inspiration for a standalone story with the same name is hereby rechristened as the Consumer. We will return to him, and his Dungeon Master first person voice, once I theoretically catch up to the vision he saw in the first link below. The rest are a few glimpses at drafts of the, uh, seven potential points of view I have unleashed upon myself, if not more. I like this path so far. Let’s see where the dice fall. The outline says pleasant novella.

“My son has been brutally killed and I seek revenge,” said the Queen. “You have my sword.” proclaimed the Hero. “And my bow,” added the Archer. “And my magic,” intoned the Mage. “And my gun,” quipped the Ranger. “AND MY AXE!” exclaimed the Warrior. “And your son!” replied the Necromancer

Chapter 1 (~3900 words (in this edit); the Adversary ™ and most of the characters in the party are introduced, “many” by POV; the story is immediately weird; I am having fun)

The Consumer (1)
The Scholar (1)
The Archer and the Blacksmith (1)
The Ranger (1)

Chapter 2 (~3400 words (in this edit); A few more main party POVs finally introduced; we finally get out of the pub; I am still having fun, but this will likely be the last serialized chapter)

The One Best Ignored (1)
The Archer and the Blacksmith (2)
The Ranger (2)
The Fighter (1)
