You have reached the website for the collected fiction writing by Rick Hayes, because he had to put it somewhere.
He would say that his preferred genre is, broadly:
weird fiction: sci-fi, fantasy, horror, adventure, at times a little sprinkle of cyberpunk or humor
[citation needed]
Here, Rick posts as Vormyr, a minor character in his first full-length novel Mother’s Light, where he is a historical figure. Vormyr is renowned for his tapestries, intricate and disturbing, as he attempted to record mystical visions of apocalypse. Future or past? He purposefully looked into the light a few too many times to try to find out, and now has seen too much.
Rick lives in the Bay Area of California with two cats and a patient wife. During the week, he works in data science and genomics, and publishes under the pseudonym Richard D. Hayes.
